BRSR_P6: Year- and Company-wise Emission details of Total Quantity of different types of Air Pollutants

Reporting principle (P6): Air emissions (other than GHG emissions). The dataset contains year- and company-wise quantities of different types of air pollutants, other than greenhouse gases (GHGs), emitted by the top 1,000 companies listed by market capitalization in their Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR). The pollutants covered include oxides of nitrogen (NOx), oxides of sulphur (SO₂), particulate matter (PM), persistent organic pollutants (POP), volatile organic compounds (VOC), hazardous air pollutants (HAP), and other emissions. This forms part of P6, that says, Businesses should respect and make efforts to protect and restore the environment. Note: We observed certain discrepancies in the units reported by a few companies in their BRSR submissions, specifically between PDF files and corresponding XML files. On Dataful, units from PDF filings have been used to correct XML data wherever possible to improve accuracy. In some cases, data from PDF files across different years for the same company did not match; in such instances, the latest available year’s data has been retained. Users are advised to verify such discrepancies directly with SEBI and/or the respective companies where necessary.
