The data shows the year-wise and state and union territory-wise number of registered nurses and health visitors in India for the years between 2008 and 2015. Note: 1. Data as at the end of the year. 2. Data for 2013 is not available. 3. Data for Goa, Pondicherry, Lakshadweep and Nagaland is not available from 2009 to 2015, and is included with that of neighbouring states for 2008. 4. Data for 2008 to 2010 is included with neighbour state for Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is not available for 2011 to 2015. 5. Figures for Manipur for 2008 is included with neighbour state. 6. Figures for Arunachal Pradesh for 2008 is included with neighbour state, and for 2009 to 2011 is not available.
