PLFS: Year, Region, and Gender wise Share of Workers engaged in Proprietary and Partnership Enterprises in the non-agriculture Sector

This dataset shows the percentage of workers engaged in proprietary and partnership (P & P) enterprises among workers in the non-agriculture sector, based on usual status (ps+ss). Sourced from the PLFS reports by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, the data provides insights into the structure of employment, specifically the involvement of workers in P & P enterprises within the non-agricultural economy. NB:Survey years previously followed a July–June cycle (e.g., 2023–24 refers to July 2023–June 2024). From 2025 onward, data is reported on a calendar-year basis (January–December), with data for 2022–2024 also published in calendar-year format in the 2025 report.
