Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS)

This collection consists of datasets from the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS). PLFS is a national survey conducted in India to assess labor market indicators, including employment, unemployment, and workforce participation. It collects data on various demographic characteristics, employment status, and economic activities, providing insights into the country's labor dynamics and helping inform policy decisions. The years covered in the survey are from July to June. For instance, 2023-24 refers to the period July 2023 to June 2024 and likewise for other years.
