Year, State, Gender, Region wise Infant Mortality Rates (IMR)
This dataset presents Infant Mortality Rates (IMR) by state, gender, and region (urban/rural). Data for smaller states prior to 2004 is unavailable due to limited samples, and sex-wise rural–urban estimates for these regions are not provided. For these areas, only overall figures are available, based on three-year pooled data. Instances of zero reported infant deaths (e.g., Kerala, Delhi) are noted separately.
