GSVA and NSVA Master Data: Year and State wise Gross and Net State Value Added (at current and constant prices)
This Dataset contains year, state, sector and category wise Gross State Value Added (GSVA) and Net State Value Added (NSVA) (at current and constant prices)
Note:
GSVA measures the total economic value added by all producing sectors and industries (such as agriculture, manufacturing, and services) within a specific state's boundaries before accounting for depreciation. It tracks economic activity from the supply side (the producer's perspective) rather than the consumer side
NSVA provides a more precise picture of economic growth by factoring in wear and tear. It is defined as the GSVA minus the Consumption of Fixed Capital (CFC), which represents the depreciation or reduction in the value of fixed assets (machinery, infrastructure, tools) during production.
