NCRB - Rehabilitation and Welfare of Prisoner Statistics: Year and Commision wise Number of Complaints Recieved from Prisoners and Their Disposals

This dataset provides year wise and commision wise data on the number of complaints filed by Prisoners or Others (in-favour of the prisoners, other persons can also lodge complaints.) Prisoners who are denied of their lawful right or subjected to cruelty can approach and file complaints with Magistrates, Prison Authorities, Human Rights Commissions, etc. The various commisions in India include National Human Righst Commission (NHRC), State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), SC/ST Commission, OBC Commission, and Other Commissions.
