NCRB - Kidnapping and Abduction: Year, Victim Type, Gender and Purpose wise Distribution of Kidnapping and Abduction Victims in Indian Metropolitan Cities

This dataset provides year wise distribution of kidnapped and abducted victims in Indian metropolitan cities, classified by victim type child or adult, gender, and purpose of kidnapping and abduction. It covers purposes such as ransom, murder, marriage, illicit intercourse, prostitution, begging, adoption, domestic servitude, forced labour or slavery, revenge, family disputes, property disputes, unlawful activities, recovery of loans, and other motives, offering insight into the intent and patterns of kidnapping and abduction in urban areas.
