PLFS: Year, Region, Gender and Quarter wise Average gross earnings during the last 30 days from self-employment work
This dataset presents the average gross earnings (in Rs.) during the last 30 days for individuals engaged in self-employment work under current weekly status (CWS). The data is sourced from the annual report of the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) conducted by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. It provides insights into the income generated from self-employment activities across different sectors.
NB: Survey years previously followed a July–June cycle (e.g., 2023–24 refers to July 2023–June 2024). From 2025 onward, data is reported on a calendar-year basis (January–December), with data for 2022–2024 also published in calendar-year format in the 2025 report. Further, quarterly data is not available in the 2025 report.
