The dataset contains year- and state-wise compiled data on the number of accidents, persons injured, including grievously injured, and killed in road accidents on different types of road and their conditions such as Ongoing or Under Construction Road, Straight Road, Curved Road, Potholes, Steep Grade, Bridge, Culvert, Single Lane, Two Lanes, More Than Two Lanes Without Median Four Lanes With Median, More Than 4 Lanes With Median ,Lanes or More With or Without Central Divider Median, Lanes Or More With Central Divider, Slippery Surface, Snowy, Muddy, Oily, Speed Breaker, etc. NB: Changes to the categorisation has been made over the years, especially from 2014 to 2017.
