Year wise Foreign Visitors, NRIs, and International Arrivals

The dataset consists of yearwise number of inbound tourism Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs), arrivals of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and International Tourist Arrivals (ITAs) to India, and the percentage change. As per the UNWTO definition, International Tourist Arrivals (ITAs) comprises two components namely Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) and Arrivals of Non-Resident Nationals. India started compiling the data on arrivals of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) & International Tourist Arrivals (ITAs) since 2014 only. Arrivals refer to the number of arrivals of foreign tourists/visitors to India, and not the number of persons. For instance, if a person visits India more than once, each arrival is counted as a new arrival.
