The dataset contains academic year- and gender-wise compiled data on total number of post graduate (PG), M.phil and Ph.D students who have passed out in different disciplines of studies such as Women Studies, Social Science, Social Work, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Agriculture, Area Studies, Commerce, Criminology and Forensic Science, Cultural Studies, Defence Studies, Design, Disability Studies, Medical Science, Foreign Language, Gandhian Studies, Fashion Technology Religious Studies, Indian Language, Law, Journalism and Mass Communication, IT and Computer Marine Science / Oceanography Journalism & Mass Communication, etc., along with their sub-disciplines of study
