The Dataset contains the assistance provided by the Centre under the scheme " Assistance to states for Modernisation of Police". This scheme was earlier called as "Scheme of Modernization of State Police Forces" (MPF Scheme). The dataset contains information for both Category A States as well as Category B states, as categorised by Centre to provide the assistance.
