Note:
1. Data on repositories for the year 1978-79 includes figures for two repositories of nationalised banks, one each in Tamil Nadu and Delhi 1978-79.
2. Position for 2002-03 as of June 30, 2003.
3. For the year 2003 onwards positions are as on end-December.
4. For the year 2019-20 onwards positions are as on end -March 31.
