Week-wise Currency Reserves with RBI from different Components and Sources
The dataset contains week-wise compiled data from the year 2001 to till date on the currency reserves of Reserved Bank of India (RBI) from different components such as banker and others deposits and sources such as governments, banks, including NABARD, and other commercial sectors, net foreign exchanges of RBI, etc.
Notes:
With the change in the definition of fortnight vide the Banking Laws (Amendment) Act, 2025, data for reserve money are published for the 15th and the last day of the month, effective December 15, 2025.
