2. Intermediate Panchayat does not exist (2 Tier) for Goa, Manipur, Sikkim, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep.
3. District Panchayat does not exist for Puducherry.
4. Data for Meghalaya, Mizoram & Nagaland pertains to Traditional Councils.
5. Panchayati Raj System is yet to be revived for NCT Delhi.
6. Data Not Applicable have been left blank.
