The data shows the year-wise state and union territory-wise number of elected representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions and representations of underrepresented sections of the society in Panchayats in 2013 and 2014. Note: 1. Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland are excluded from the purview of 73rd Amendment Act of the Constitution. 2. The data indicated for 2013 against A & N Islands and Puducherry pertains to the previous year. 3. The data indicated for 2014 against Goa, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, A & N Islands, Lakshadweep and Puducherry pertains to previous years.
