The Crimes Against Children dataset collection from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) provides comprehensive year, state, city, crime head, and gender wise statistics on offences against children in India under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Special and Local Laws (SLL) such as the POCSO Act, Juvenile Justice Act, and Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. It includes data on reported cases, crime rates, chargesheet rates, and detailed court disposal outcomes such as convictions, acquittals, pendency, and withdrawals, offering insights into the extent, nature, and judicial processing of crimes against children across the country.

The collection contains year-, state- and city-wise historically compiled National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data from the year 2002 on the number of cyber crimes committed in violation of various legislations such as Indian Penal Code (IPC), Information Technology Act (IT Act), other State and Local Laws (SLL) such as Gambling Act, Lotteries Act, Trademark Act, Copyright Act, etc. The datasets contained in the collection also include datasets categorized by number of cyber crimes by their motives, types of crimes, and by their disposal status with police and in courts.

The collection consists of data related to persons reported as missing and those traced or recovered, including women and children as per the Crime in India Report of NCRB. The data is available for states, across age groups, and by gender.
