State, Year and Region-wise Occupied residential houses and households in the country

The dataset contains the data on the State and Year-wise Occupied Residential Houses and households in the country for rural and urban population of 2001 and 2011. The table also contains data for no. of Households per 100 Occupied Residential House and No. of Persons per 100 Households in the years of 1991, 2001 and 2011. This data is for all the Indian States and Indian UTs. Note: 1) Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand & Jharkhand did not exist in 1991. 2) Year 2011: Includes partly included houses also.
