Data in table tells us about the year-wise total and surfaced road length of various types of roads like Municipal roads, Railway roads, Ports roads (major+minor) and Military, Engineering and Service roads for all States and UTs of India.
Note:
1) Total may not tally due to rounding of figures.
2) Total Urban Roads includes Minor Port Roads as well even though the component has not been indicated separately.
3) Data is as of 31 March of each year.
