The dataset contains the All India and Year-wise general statistics of Post Offices containing data on the number of Post offices, Letter boxes(permanent), Total strength of establishments, Total Postal Mail Traffic, No. of money orders, No. of value payable articles sent. Note: 1) Total strength of establishments is inclusive of audit and accounts establishments. 2) In number of money orders data relates to ordinary and telegraphic inland money orders issued and foreign money orders issued and paid. 3) Traffic figures as shown in tables may not tally due to rounding off.
