The dataset contains year- and chemical-substance-wise data on production, customs purchase, consumption, import, export, and feedstock of Ozone Depleting Chemical Substances (ODS), such as chlorofluoro carbons (CFCs)- -11, 12, 13, 113, 113a, Halons -1211, 1211 2, 1211 3, , 1301 1, 1301 1&2, 1301 1&3, 2402 2, 2402 3 2402, Carbon tetrachloride (CTC) - 1, MCh, MBr, hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC)- 22, 123,141b, 142b 1, 124, 133A 1, 225 1, 225ca/cb 1, Bromofluoro-methane 1, Methyl Bromide - 3, in India Notes: 1. ODS consumption is calculated from the sum of the imported and produced quantities (excluding production for feedstock and used as process agents i.e., as part of a chemical reaction where it is not consumed) minus the exported and destroyed part. 2. Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) measures the capability of a chemical compound to deplete the ozone layer in the atmosphere. This value compares the potential impact of various gases to a standard reference, usually the impact of a similar mass of CFC-11 (Chlorofluorocarbon-11)
