NCRB - Crime in India: Year and State wise Different Types of Riots Registered under Offences against Public Tranquillity
The dataset contains the year wise and state wise number of cases of certain types of riots registered under Sections 147 to 151 IPC (till 2023) and Sections 190, 189(6), 189(5), 191(2),191(3) BNS (since 2024) across states since 2014 for which data is available in the NCRB'S Crime in India report. The types of riots covered include sectarian, agrarian, students, communal, political, industrial, and caste conflicts.
