NCRB - Crimes Against Senior Citizens: Year, Crime Head, and Gender wise Disposal of Persons Arrested for Crime Cases against Senior Citizens in Metropolitan Cities

This dataset provides year wise, crime head wise and gender wise information on the disposal status of persons arrested for crimes against senior citizens in India's metropolitan cities. It categorises offences under major crime heads such as assault on women with intent to outrage her modesty, attempt to commit murder, attempt to commit murder, rape, cheating, criminal intimidation, criminal trespass, culpable homicide not amounting to murder, dacoity, dacoity with murder, extortion, forgery, cheating, fraud, grievous hurt, kidnapping and abduction, murder, robbery, simple hurt, and theft. It also includes data on the number of persons acquitted, arrested, chargesheeted, convicted, and discharged, offering a comprehensive view of law enforcement and judicial response to these crimes.
