This dataset provides year wise, state wise and cause wise breakup of the deaths of prisoners due to illness in Indian jails. The illnesses are classified by heart, lung, liver, kidney, HIV, cancer, TB, paralysis, cholera/diarrhea, schizophrenia with epilpsy, brain hemorrhage, intestine perforation, drugs or alcohol withdrawal and others.
