This dataset provides year wise, state wise and cause wise number of accidental deaths of prisoners in Indian jails. The accidental deaths are classified into deaths due to forces of nature and deaths other than forces of nature such as snake bite, electrocution, drowning, accidental fall, burn injuries, road/train accident, drugs or alcohol consumption and others.
