The dataset contains year, state and city-wise on number of crimes committed against women in India’s major metropolitan cities by their disposal status at court, such as Cases Acquitted, Cases Discharged, Convicted Out of Cases during the Year, Convicted Out of Cases from Previous Year, Compounded, Disposed by Plea Bargaining, Quashed, Stayed or Sent to Record Room, Disposed off without trial, Sent for Trial during the year, Abated by Court, Pending Trial from the Previous Year, Withdrawn by the government, Cases in which Trials were completed, etc.
