Year, Region, Gender, and State wise Worker Population Ratio according to usual principal status
This dataset shows the Worker Population Ratio (WPR) in percentage according to the usual principal status (ps) for each State and Union Territory in India. The data is sourced from the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) conducted by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation since 2020-21. The data presents the proportion of the working population across all age groups. Note: For 2023-24, Chandigarh's entire area has been considered as urban for this survey.
NB: Survey years previously followed a July–June cycle (e.g., 2023–24 refers to July 2023–June 2024). From 2025 onward, data is reported on a calendar-year basis (January–December).
