BRSR_P2: Year- and Company-wise Life Cycle Assessment of Products and Services and Share in Turnover

Reporting Principle (P2): Life Cycle Perspective / Assessments (LCA) for any of the entity’s products The dataset contains year- and company-wise details of life cycle assessments conducted for different products and services, along with the percentage of annual turnover contributed by such assessed products and services, as reported by the top 1,000 companies listed by market capitalization in their Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR). It also includes details such as assessment boundary, whether the assessment was conducted by an independent agency, and whether results were disclosed in the public domain. This forms part of P2, that says, Businesses should provide goods and services in a manner that is sustainable and safe. Note: 1. In response to NIC code and assessment boundary fields, some companies have reported anomalous values such as 1.91, 271000.61, and 2011920211. These values have been retained in the dataset exactly as they appear in the raw data (in the nic_code and assessment_boundary columns). 2. We observed certain discrepancies in the units reported by a few companies in their BRSR submissions, specifically between PDF files and corresponding XML files. On Dataful, units from PDF filings have been used to correct XML data wherever possible to improve accuracy. In some cases, data from PDF files across different years for the same company did not match; in such instances, the latest available year’s data has been retained. Users are advised to verify such discrepancies directly with SEBI and/or the respective companies where necessary.
