Hazardous Waste: Year- and State-wise Quantity of Hazardous Waste Transported Inter-State by Types of Disposal and Utilization

The dataset contains year- and state-wise compiled data on the quantity of hazardous waste which has been transported between different states of India by different types of its recycling, disposal, utilization such as secured landfill, common incinerator, co-processing, etc. Note: 1. The Utilization of Hazardous Waste under Rule 9 denotes to the utilization of hazardous waste and other waste as resource or after pre- processing, either for co-processing or for any other use, including utilization within premises of the generator, under Hazardous Waste Management Rules, 2016 2. In 2016-17, it was also observed that there is difference between the quantity of waste generated and utilized/recycled/disposed/stored which is due to carry over/ disposal of previous stocks by the occupiers, interstate movement of hazardous waste for recycling/utilization/co-processing, as informed by the PCBs.
