Medical Waste: Year- and State-wise Quantity of Bio-Medical Waste Generated, Treated and Disposed

The dataset contains year- and state-wise compiled data on the total quantity of bio-medical waste generated, treated, and disposed. It also includes the separate data on the waste generated due to Covid-19 and by DGAFMS (Director General Armed Forces Medical Services) Notes: 1. In the state column, the name DGAFMS stands for Directorate General Armed Force Medical Services 2. The empty cells in the value column refer to data not provided by respective states 3. The CPCB has used the words treated and treated and disposed interchangeably across the years to refer to the treatment and disposal of waste. The dataset refers to these words as they are provided in the raw data.
