The dataset contains state-wise compiled data on the names and total core and buffer areas of the tiger reserves in India, along with dates of notification and dates of inclusion in project tiger of each reserve The core and buffer areas of wildlife reserves refer to areas where no human activities and limited human activities are permitted, respectively
