The dataset contains river-basin and sub-basin-wise compiled data on the total length of rivers and the number of watersheds, along with their range and area, dams, barrages, weirs, anicuts, lifts and power houses which have been built over their different sub-basins. The different rivers covered in the dataset include Brahmaputra, Cauvery, Godavari, Krishna, Brahmani, Baitarani, Pennar, Mahanadi, Mahi, Tapi, Narmada, Sabarmati, Subernarekha Barak, etc.
