The dataset shows number of cases of NPA referred, amount involved and the amount of NPAs of Scheduled Commercial Banks Recovered through Various Channels like Lok Adalats, Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRTs), SARFAESI Act and IBC Note: 1. Amount Recovered refers to amount recovered during the given year, which could be with reference to cases referred during the given year as well as during the earlier years. 2. The resolution plan of Essar Steel India Ltd. was approved in 2018-19. However, as apportionment among creditors was settled in 2019-20, the recovery is reflected in the latter year data. 3. IBC(Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code) represents Cases admitted by National Company Law Tribunals (NCLTs).
