The dataset contains academic year-wise and state-wise number of different types of Institutes such as Constituent or University College, Recognized Center, University College, Off-Campus Center, Affiliated College, etc., which are attached to different types of universities such as state public, private, open universities, central open universities, central universities, deemed government, deemed government aided and deemed private universities, institutes of national importance, institutes under state legislature act, etc.
