Sahitya Akademi Awards: Year and Language-wise Translation Prizes

Sahitya Akademi instituted Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize in 1989. Sahitya Akademi translation prize is presented to the best translations in 24 languages recognized by Sahitya Akademi. Each prize carries a plaque, shawl, citation and the cheque for Rupees Fifty Thousand. Translations among Indian languages are considered at present for the Translation Prize. This dataset contains the list winners of the award, name of their work, and the category of work (like short stories, poetry, etc.) and similar details of original works.
