Population Projection of India: Gender-, Age-group- and State-wise Quinquennial Projected Population (2011 - 2036)

The dataset contains year-, age-group- and gender-wise compiled data on all India quinquennial (5 years period) population of India from the year 2011 to 2036 as of March 1st each year. The figures of population given for different years are the projected figures, except for the census year of 2011. The data has been provided by categorizing the population according to different age groups such as 0 to 1, 1 to 4, 5 to 9, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79 and 80 and above.
