The collection contains State-, Age-group- and Gender-wise compiled datasets on India's population from the year 2011 to 2036, based on the technical group report published by the National Commission on Population (NCP). The figures of population given for different years are the projected figures, except for the census year of 2011. The different types of data and information contained in the datasets include independent data on quinquennial and yearly projected population of India, with separate data on projected urban population.
