This dataset contains the number of incidents of Left Wing Extremism (LWE) initiated by left-wing extremists and security forces. It also includes the deaths of civilians and security force caused across the states due to Left Wing Extremism related incidents.
Note: From 2022, the data is maintained separately for number of incidents perpetrated by Left Wing Extremists & Incidents initiated by Security Forces.
