Total sterilisation in Sub Divisional Hospital or subdistrict hospital(SDH)

During the procedure, the male vasa deferential are cut and tied or sealed to prevent sperm from entering the urethra and thereby prevent fertilization of a female through sexual intercourse (4) SDH- Sub Divisional Hospital or subdistrict hospital is used here to mean a hospital at the secondary referral level responsible for the Sub District / Sub Division of a defined geographical area containing a defined population.
