Data in table tells us about the year-wise Distribution of Juveniles arrested under IPC and Special and local laws by economic set-up and recidivism. Parameters under economic setup are- Annual Income Rs.100001 - Rs.200000, Annual Income Rs.200001 - Rs.300000, Annual Income Rs.25000 - Rs.50000, Annual Income Rs.50001 - Rs.100000, Annual Income up to Rs 25000, Total Juveniles and Upper Income above Rs.300001. Parameters under recidivism are- New Delinquent, Old Delinquents and Total. This data is for all India from 2001-2015.
Note:
1)As per revised definition of Juvenile Justice Act 2000, the boys in the age group 16-18 years have also been considered as Juveniles.
2) Data for cities discontinued by source.
3) Data for the year 1991, 1996, 1997 and 1998 are not available due to revised economic set up and recidivism.
