The dataset contains year-, month-, state-, district-, and block-wise Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA)/Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) data on the number of gram panchayats with zero persondays and number of gram panchayats with unspent balance ratios, categorized by panchayats with a balance of zero or less, greater than zero but less than or equal to one, greater than zero but less than or equal to five for the year 2026-27

1. Personday is defined as as the number of persons working per day multiplied by the number of days worked
2. The Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025 (VB-G RAM G) came into force on July 1, 2026, officially replacing the old MGNREGA framework.
