Soil Health Data: District and Village wise Soil Health Information for Mizoram
This dataset provides year-, district-, village-, and location-wise soil health information for the Mizoram. It includes key soil parameters such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulphur, Organic Carbon, pH, Electrical Conductivity, Boron, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, and catchment area. A microwatershed (1:50K) is the smallest fundamental hydrological unit delineated on a 1:50,000 scale map, typically representing drainage areas of small streams or streamlets with a unique national code, while a prioritized microwatershed (1:50K) is that same basic unit evaluated and ranked (e.g., Very High, High, Medium, Low priority) based on factors like soil erosion and sediment yield index to phase conservation work. Notes: Nitrogen (kg/ha) : <280 is Low, 280 to 560 is Medium, >560 is High Phosphorous (kg/ha) : <10 is Low, 10 to 25 is Medium, >25 is High Potassium (kg/ha) : <120 is Low, 120 to 280 is Medium, >280 is High Organic Carbon (percentage) : < 0.5% is Low, 0.5 to 0.75% is Medium, > 0.75% is High Boron (ppm) : < 0.5 is Deficient, > 0.5 is Sufficient Iron (ppm) : < 4.5 is Deficient, > 5.5 is Sufficient Zinc (ppm) : < 0.6 is Deficient, > 0.6 is Sufficient Copper (ppm) : < 0.2 is Deficient, > 0.2 is Sufficient Manganese (ppm) : < 2 is Deficient, > 2 is Sufficient Sulphur (ppm) : < 10 is Deficient, > 10 is Sufficient pH Range:- Strongly acidic : ≤ 4.5 Moderately acidic : > 4.5 – 5.5 Slightly acidic : > 5.5 – 6.5 Normal : > 6.5 – 7.5 Slightly alkaline : > 7.5 – 8.5 Moderately alkaline (sodic) : > 8.5 – 9.5 Strongly alkaline (highly sodic) : > 9.5 Electrical Conductivity (dS/m):- Non saline : 0 – 1.68 Low salinity : 1.68 – 3.36 Mild salinity : 3.36 – 6.72 High salinity : 6.72 – 13.44 Severe salinity : > 13.44
