This dataset presents year wise, crime head wise, and gender wise statistics on the police disposal of crimes against children in metropolitan cities. It covers offences including sexual offences under POCSO, rape (Sec 376), kidnapping and abduction (Sec 363–369), buying/selling of minors for prostitution (Secs 372–373), trafficking (Sec 370/370A), hurt, murder, foeticide, infanticide, child labour violations, cyber offences, and offences under the Juvenile Justice and Immoral Traffic Acts, with separate reporting for boys and girls. It includes investigation outcomes such as cases chargesheeted, cases closed as false or untraced, transferred cases, and pending investigations.
