Year and Raw Material wise Ex-Mill Ethanol Price

This dataset contains government-fixed ex-mill ethanol prices by year and feedstock type, including C-heavy molasses, B-heavy molasses, sugarcane juice/syrup, surplus rice from Food Corporation of India (FCI), damaged food grains (DFG), and maize. The National Policy on Biofuels-2018 allowed DFG to be used for ethanol from ESY 2018-19, and in April 2020, the government approved the use of FCI surplus rice and maize. These steps reflect India’s strategy to diversify feedstocks and boost ethanol production under the EBP Programme. Note: Values for 2025-26 are till 30th June, 2026
