NCRB - Crimes against Women: Year, State, City and Crime Head wise Number of Crimes against Women, Victims, and Crime Rate in Metropolitan Cities
The dataset contains year, state and city wise on number of different types of crimes committed against women, number of victims, and their crime rate in India’s metropolitan cities. It covers crimes like abetment to suicide, acid attacks, assault, rape, kidnapping, dowry deaths, cybercrimes, human trafficking, immoral trafficking, insult to modesty, and other offences under the IPC, Dowry Prohibition Act, Immoral Traffic Act, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
Note: In 2016, the "Rape (Sec 376 IPC)" crime head includes cases registered under section 4 & 6 of POCSO Act r/w 376 IPC
