The dataset contains state-wise number of different types of commercial vehicles, with primary permit valid, which are in use in India, as of 31 March of each year. The types of vehicles covered in dataset include Public (STU) Private, Auto rickshaw, E-rickshaw, Ordinary taxi, Motor Cab (SP & AIP), Maxi Cab (SP & AIP), Omni Bus (SP & AIP), Educational Institution Buses, Ambulance, Fire Fighter, Lorries (SP & NP), Tankers (SP & NP), Tractor and Trailer, Light Motor Vehicles, Multi Axle/Articulated (SP & NP), etc.
