Land Degradation: All India Decadal Positive and Negative Changes in Land Degradation from 2005-06 to 2015-16

The dataset contains year-wise compiled data on the decadal positive and negative changes in the land degradation. The specifics of data contained in the dataset include positive transition of land from different types of land degradation to various types of normal land and negative transition of different types of normal to various types of land degradation. The different types of positive and negative changes covered in the dataset include land areas changing from partially stabilized/unstabilized dunes to stabilized dunes, water erosion severe to water erosion moderate, water erosion moderate/severe/rills to water erosion slight, water erosion, logging, salignity to normal, barren rocky to mining, saline severe, moderate to saline slight and moderate, industrial-effluent affected areas /mining/brick kiln to normal, mass movement/barren rocky/riverine sand to normal, surface permanent/sub-surface water logging to seasonal water logging, salinity to Industrial-effluent affected areas /mining/brick kiln, saline-sodic severe to saline sodio moderate, acidification to normal, unstabilized dunes to partially stabilized dunes, etc., and vice-versa
