The dataset shows sources of money stock: Net RBI Credit to Central Government, Net RBI Credit to State Governments, Other Banks' Investments in Government Securities, Net Bank Credit to Government, RBI Credit to Commercial Sector, Other Banks' Credit to Commercial Sector, Bank Credit to Commercial Sector, Net Foreign Exchange Assets of the RBI, Net Foreign Exchange Assets of Other Banks, Net Foreign Exchange Assets of the Banking Sector, Government's Currency Liabilities to Public, Net Non-monetary Liabilities of RBI, Net Non-monetary liabilities of Other Banks, Net Non-Monetary Liabilities of Banking Sector, RBI's Gross Claims on Banks Note: 1. Data include the impact of merger on May 3, 2002. 2. Excluding the impact of conversion of a non-banking entity into a banking entity on October 11, 2004, data on Net Bank Credit to Government and Bank Credit to Commercial Sector for the year 2004-05 worked out to Rupees 740243 Crore and Rupees 1243030 Crore, respectively.
