Demographics: Data of Registered and Medically Certified Deaths from MCCD

The collection contains year-, state-, region-, gender- and age-group-wise data on registered and medically certified deaths, together with share of groups of diseases in the medically certified deaths. The datasets are compiled from Medical Certification of Cause of Death (MCCD) annual reports which contain registered deaths and other data obtained through the Civil Registration System (CRS) under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969
